Our Meeting Night has changed to THE THIRD MONDAY NIGHT OF THE MONTH The meeting for August will be Monday night August 16th at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be at First United Methodist Church in Cary Room 212. Directions to the room: Enter the Education Building via the main entrance in the courtyard. Turn right to go to the elevator. Take the elevator to the second floor and room 212 is just ahead as you come off the elevator.
Men's Bowling League
Remaining Games are Sunday August 21, Sunday September 19, Sunday October 19 and conclude with Bowloffs and awards ceremony on Sunday November 14. All games begin at 2:30 at Buffaloe Lanes, Highway 401 South Raleigh. 5-man team format Cost: $15 per person (3 games and shoes) payable each Sunday. The planning for the No Man Left Behind Leadership Training Conference April 7-9, 2011 is full steam ahead. Be sure to put the date on your calendar and plan to attend. We are also planning a December 7th dinner at MERCI Center to promote the event. Pat Morley, President of Man In The Mirror, will be the guest speaker.
The Millbrook Iron Men sold over 400 plates of BBQ chicken on Friday!!!!
Please lift up Kevin Manweiler from Soapstone UMM ministry group. Kevin is the former Secretary of the District UMM. He is undergoing chemotherapy this week to hopefully eliminate a tumor located in his back. Kevin has been a faithful servant of Men's Ministry on the local as well as the district level.
If you or your church has a piano that needs tuning...... we got the man. Bill McClure is a member of Garner UMC and is active in United Methodist Men.
